About Me

From a young age I have always been drawn to the adventure of learning new things and following the path less taken. I began my professional life working as a licensed climbing guide, leading mountaineering and climbing trips throughout the United States and South America.

In 2011, armed with an engineering degree from the University of California, I was selected for Officer Candidate School and permanently detailed to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  During my time in uniform, I served in executive roles onboard ships in Hawaii, Alaska and Oregon, managed government facilities in American Samoa and Antarctica, and helped the Department of Commerce secure funding to rebuild its fleet of ships and aircraft.

While my time in service was rewarding, in 2017 I decided to resign my commission to begin an MBA at Carnegie Mellon and pursue more entrepreneurial goals. It was during this time I met the investors who are presently supporting me as I search for a company to acquire and lead.

Outside of work, I am an avid rock climber and hiker. My fiancee Brittany and I enjoy exploring remote wilderness areas and cooking. We are both excited about relocating to a new community.
